Job Related Health Issues Resulting From
Long Hours on the Road ?
It's a known fact that the lifestyle of an otr trucker can greatly contribute to or even directly cause a myriad of health issues. Stress and driving fatigue are ranked as the top two health issues for otr truckers. But we can't eliminate other problem health issues such as:
- Obesity
- High Blood Pressure
- Diabetes
Sleep Apnea - Exhaustion
- Depression
- Smoking
- Dependence on Stimulants
- Back Pain
Because of long periods of driving, many otr drivers who are already fighting boredom are also heavy smokers. Along with sleeping in a vibrating truck, working long hours and not getting enough rest, physical problems and health issues can easily become much worse and more quickly as compared to the general public.
Some time back, Dr. Walter Gutowski of Scottsdale, Arizona, and myself were guests on Blog Talk Radio hosted by trucking advocate Allen Smith, discussing "Improving Trucker's Health and Quality of Life".
There has never before been a way to improve
your health and quality of life by reversing
the aging process and restoring your vitality.

The Fountain Of Youth ? Maybe ....
Although viewed by many as the "white knights of the road", statistically, in the U.S., 20 percent of truck crashes are the direct result of over-worked and fatigued drivers. Endless hours of driving, and having to maintain constant vigilance on highways and interstates creates a high danger of being involved in a major accident. Irregular schedules, sitting for long periods of time, bending and lifting heavy objects, stress, fatigue, and not eating proper meals can lead to serious health issues. This program addresses a natural and healthy way for truckers to have a positive effect or even reversing health problems.
