But one industry that is still lagging behind in effectively using social media is, you guessed it....the trucking industry. Although the number of users and followers are staggering, only 44% of trucking companies report that they are using any form of social media with their business strategies. That means that less than half of the reported 100,000 (all shapes and sizes) trucking companies are using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and/or others.
