As you know I graduated from Delta Academy in Mt. Sterling, KY., in 2009 - after graduation I went to work with a well known trucking company. In the beginning I worked for them as a company driver, later they talked me into a lease purchase arrangement - BIG MISTAKE - I found out right away this wasn't going to work. I discussed this with the company with no satisfaction. I then quit the company and went back to farming.
I decided I wanted to go back into trucking so I called Robbie at Delta about helping me find a job. Robbie referred me to James McCormack with Trucking Careers of America. After I discussed what I was looking for, Mr. McCormack and I decided on the best option for me at that time. He submitted my application and I was turned down. As it turned out my previous employer stated on my DAC report that I abandoned my rig. This was news to me.
